Revenue Source
The Dyal Singh Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (DSJHSS) is currently supported through the limited institutional resources available from Dyal Singh College and, where necessary, voluntary contributions and support from members of the editorial team. The journal does not presently rely on commercial revenue, advertising income, subscription fees, or other external sources of funding for its routine operations.
Members of the Editorial Board and Advisory Board, as well as peer reviewers, currently perform their respective responsibilities on a voluntary basis and do not receive remuneration for their editorial, advisory, or peer-review services.
At present, the journal does not impose Article Processing Charges (APCs) or publication fees on authors. Should the journal introduce APCs or any other publication-related charges in the future, such charges will be clearly communicated to authors in advance and publicly disclosed on the journal website. Any revenue generated through such charges will be used solely to support legitimate journal-related expenses, including website hosting and maintenance, preservation and continued online availability of journal archives, editorial and production costs, publication infrastructure, and other expenses directly associated with the sustainable operation of the journal.
Any future payments or honoraria to reviewers or other contributors, if introduced, will be governed by the journal’s approved financial and editorial policies and will be transparently disclosed where applicable.
