About the Journal

The Dyal Singh Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (DSJHSS) is a bilingual (English and Urdu), multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed, and open-access research journal published by Government Dyal Singh Graduate College, Lahore, Pakistan. The journal is published biannually, in June and December, and follows a double-blind peer-review process.

DSJHSS provides a scholarly platform for national and international researchers to publish original and unpublished research in the humanities and social sciences. Its areas of interest include literature, languages and linguistics, education, media studies, sociology, psychology, history, economics, international relations, political and cultural studies, anthropology, Islamiyat, arts, and related disciplines.

The journal is committed to promoting original, rigorous, ethical, and interdisciplinary research and to facilitating the dissemination and exchange of scholarly knowledge. All published content is freely accessible under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License. The journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of PKR 15,000 for national authors and USD 60 for international authors, payable only after completion of peer review, satisfactory revision, and formal acceptance of the manuscript.
